Day trips…Flew out early morning and came back in the evening.

Inside of Duomo Cathedral
Milan - there was only one thing we did. Sightseeing and shopped. One of our fondest memories was walking into Zara Men, only saw men shopping for themselves. ^^ Eating coconut gelato outside, on the steps of Duomo.

People watching while we ate at an outdoor cafe.

London:

Big Ben

the London Eye

The Green Park near Buckingham Palace.
We were able to squeeze a lot of sightseeing in London. Had dim sum in Chinatown, shopped at TOP SHOP. Did everything we could within 6 hours. ^^

Continuing on with my previous post.
Some highlights from my trip in Toulouse, Anglet, Bayonne, Biarritz (France) and San Sebastian(Spain) trip. I was fortunate enough to visit my long time friend in France. Also got to celebrate my friend’s birthday as well.
My first night in Toulouse, my friend cooked duck confit.

Another night, my friend made French lasagna - another home-cooked meal. ^^

Picked up these yummy petit fours at a local patisserie. ^^

Birthday dinner - More home-cooked meals…

Smoked salmon, creme fraiche over crackers

Yummy foie gras.

Dinner in Anglet. My friend’s hometown. Also got to visit Bayonne and Biarritz.

Garlic frog legs.

Local fish served with their special dried chili peppers. ^^
ile flottante - floating island (fluffy soft egg-white ‘floating’ on a sea of custard). taste like i was eating air. hehe. i’m a big custard fan.

In 1854 the Emperor Napoleon III built a summer palace, La Villa Eugénie, by the ocean-side in Biarritz for his wife, the Empress Eugénie. Currently, the Hotel du Palais (a 5-star hotel).
There was a casino near by. So my friends and I went to play some blackjack. I was up 80 euros. ^^ Started with 20 euros.

Took a day trip to San Sebastian, Spain. We were really lucky we didn’t get rained on.

Spain and their tapas.

These jamon n queso croquetas were the best i’ve ever had. smooth on the inside and nice crunch on the outside. we ordered two portions.

I really liked this scene. Kids playing outside. ^^

At night we headed back to Anglet. During the day, we went to Bayonne. Even though they are close to one another, the architecture is completely different.

It got gloomy. Took some shots in B&W.

After two weeks, I gained 4kgs..all the yummy goodness of duck confit, foie gras, salami, sausages, etc. ;P~

It’s been awhile (a year ago or so) since my last posting. Can’t believe it’s been that long. 2012 is quickly approaching. Since my last post, I went to Germany, Milan, London, New York, back to Germany(again), France, Hawaii, Japan and Korea.
With over a few thousand photos, I will post some of my highlights from my trips.
Got my corndog and pineapple whip this time!
